Researching with plasticine

Does giving children plasticine help when interviewing them about watching dance?

I have previous used visual arts workshops with groups of spectators to explore their experiences of dance and theatre. I’ve often, in shorthand, called these ‘drawing’ workshops. In fact they’ve often involved not only drawing but also painting, collage and impromptu model making. They had, however, been largely 2D. I was curious about the potential for model making and therefore set up with Imaginate a small scale experimental project using plasticine model making with primary school children to explore their experience of Dream City.
